REPORT BY PROFESSOR REZA AZIN "EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS OF PRE-DARCIAN FLOWS FOR VARIOUS LIQUIDS AND GASES"

On August 24 at 12:00 in the conference hall of the IPE RAS in a face-to-face format there will be a presentation of the report of the professor of the Persian Gulf University Reza Azin : 'Analysis of Pre-Darcy Flow for different Liquids and Gases' (Experimental analysis of pre-Darcy flows for various liquids and gases).

Prof. Azin is the head of the Iranian group of the joint project under the RFBR grant No. 20-55-56050_Iran_t "Analysis of hydrocarbon phase pinching during two-phase filtration, including in gas condensate reservoirs."

In his report, he will briefly talk about the work of the Persian Gulf University, which is interested in expanding collaboration with the IPE RAS in connection with successful cooperation within the framework of a grant, as well as about his laboratory and its experimental capabilities. The main part of the report is devoted to the results of experiments on permeability measurements in the pre-Darcian regime, i.e. until the Stokes filtering mode is established. The experimental results of the Iranian team are of interest to those whose field of study is related to fluid dynamics processes, and also expand the search for topics for joint work in the field of both experiment and modeling.
