According to the Islamic World Citation Database, Professor Parviz Malekzadeh, Faculty member of Mechanical Engineering at the Persian Gulf University, is among the top 1% of scientists in the world for the seventh consecutive year.

Based on data from the ESC database, (ESI) and WOS, Dr. Malekzadeh was introduced as the top 1% scientist in the world in 2021 with 111 articles and 3128 citations.

To be included in the list of top researchers, all the scientific activities of the last 10 years at the international level, including the number of articles, number of citations, number of highly cited articles, number of citations to highly cited articles, are examined. Also, issues such as observing ethical principles in research, observing the level of self-citation to an acceptable level, as well as retracted articles are effective in selecting a researcher for this list.
