A collaboration capacity building meeting was held at the Iranian Embassy in Kuala lumpur between the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Malaysia and Dr. Seyed Noureddin Amiri, representative and faculty member of Persian Gulf University and the former mayor of Bushehr. ​​Amiri, holding a sabbatical visit And a fellow professor at Malaysian university, presented a report on the capabilities of Bushehr province, especially ports, and ways to develop external investment. Then, the cooperation between the Malaysian academic institutes with Persian Gulf University were evaluated in detail and it was decided to follow the ways of implementing the previous agreements and memoranda in order to develop inter-university communications, especially in the form of third generation universities.
