According to the Director of International Affairs and Overseas Students at Persian Gulf University, a team from Persian Gulf University, consisting of students and a professir from the Faculty of Petroleum, Gas and Petrochemical Engineering, will be dispatched to participate in the 2026 International Geology Competition in Russia, which will be held from August 28 to September 9, 2026.
This scientific event, hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources of Ufa, Russian Federation, is recognized as one of the prestigious international competitions in the field of Earth sciences.
Dr. Khosravi added that the participation of Persian Gulf University students in this competition represents a valuable opportunity for scientific competition, knowledge and experience exchange with students and researchers from various countries, as well as for showcasing the university’s scientific capabilities on the international stage.
