Based on the results of the recently published Times Young (THE) 2024 ranking system, Persian Gulf University was ranked 3rd among all young Iranian universities in the International Outlook Index. It is noted that the Persian Gulf University has been ranked 2nd on the International Perspective Index among Iran's young comprehensive universities.

According to the Times ranking system, a young university refers to a university that is less than 50 years old. This ranking is published every year to evaluate the state of the world's universities, and the Persian Gulf University has been ranked 401-500 among the world's young universities in the year 2024.
